VACANCY FOR ACCOUNT/REVENUE OFFICERS IN ARIK AIR NIGERIA [DEADLINE:26TH AUGUST]




VACANCY TITLE: ACCOUNT /REVENUE OFFICERS.
This position will assist Managers in the Finance department in preparation of final accounts, account and revenue reconciliation and general accounting /finance duties.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Daily receipt and logging of flight documentation (Tellers, Manifests, Boarding passes, coupons etc) from all sales stations
• Verification and reconciliation of sales report on reservation system vs, TSR/Bank Collections.
• Verification and reconciliation of Flight Boarding pass, Manifest, Coupon, vs amount lodged in the bank,
• Verification merecliarged on each ticket with the approved fare sheet for the various sectors
• Identifying discrepancies (if any) on verifications and reconciliation exercise and establish the cause(s).
• Tally Dally checklist for flight operated from operations control department.
• Monitoring and follow-on stations to ensure returns and all required documentations are received on time.
• Writing of periodic revenue audit reports including daily activity reports to Supervisor/Manager.
• Any other emerging duties and responsibilities as related to revenue functions as assigned by Management.

Essential Qualification and Experience
• Degreee/HND in Accounting/Finance or any numerate course
• Airline or Travel Agency experience is an essential requirement for this position
• Proven numerical and statistical acumen.
• Computer literate and conversant with revenue software packages
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure without sacrificing quality and high level accuracy
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, both finance and non finance
• Shift work will be required.

JOB SUMMARY
To deliver Group- wide Inventory Management and Inventory Control services required to maintain the highest standards of inventory accuracy and efficiencies. Coordinate all planning data in Oracle to facilitate the supply of materials in the right quantity and quality. Ensure all warehouses operate on a common platform to achieve high inventory accuracy and minimal obsolesces in a cost effective manner.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide strategic direction for Group-wide inventory management practices.
• Develop entity inventory management plans and assist in setting/managing min-max levels and manage overall inventory value.
• Creating, implementing and enforcing the necessary Group policies, procedures, systems and controls to ensure consistency in warehousing procedures and operations..
• Develop inventory management plan and execute for the Head Office warehouse including, stationary program.
