  • Provide in-house training to C&P staff in the use of the Departmental Tools like UNISUP/SAP, BW, NipeX, CONTIKI, ARIBA, e-Transit and Supplier Management Tool etc
  • Provide in-house training for DW registered Contractors and Suppliers on the use of e-Sourcing Tool, ARIBA
  • Define and perform regular controls to continuously improve the level of appropriation of SC tools so as to improve affiliates performance in ASAP and related audits

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Second Class university degree in Engineering, Business or a Supply Chain discipline plus 5 – 10 years experience in the Oil & Gas Industry. Ideally, the last 2 – 5 years should have been in a Supply Chain capacity preferably within the client's Group
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies in the Supply Chain and in Operational functions will be an added advantage.
  • Very good knowledge of C&P SC tools including SAP UNISUP, CONTIKI, ARIBA & NIPEX, in addition to other Business & Computing tools
  • Demonstrable commitment to excellence, respect for deadlines, team spirit and good communication skills
  • Computer litteracy is mandatory and paramount on and off the job,

The Consultant shall report to the Drilling Superintendent and Drilling Manager. He shall assist the drilling team in planning, engineering, tendering and execution of the onshore and swamp drilling campaign. The Scope of work includes following but not limited to the following:
  • Develop well completion and well testing procedures and Programmes to ensure safe and efficient operations by introducing innovative programme/ technique and setting key performance indicator for the project teams.
  • Improve operational efficiency by applying the latest state of the art technology in all facets of well completion and testing during development drilling, completion and work over operations.
  • Consolidate, capture and verify the lesson learnt and technical knowledge Well Completion and disseminate the knowledge to all Well Completion Engineers in the various projects so as everybody is well informed and contribute to the improvement in their work processes and technology applications.
  • Develop the technical specifications and scope of work for Well Completion equipment, Well Testing and completion support services such as Electric line, Slickline, Tubular make-up for tender packages to be in line with the engineering standards and meeting the operational requirement.
  • Conduct engineering and technical studies associated with well completion in order to increase competitiveness and improve well integrity.
  • Recommend specific optimal (safe, timely, efficient and cost -effective ) well completion and well testing operational resolutions/measures/ technique to project teams in order to achieve operational excellence with significant cost reduction by appraising/analyzing past/current operational problems and by being proactive during progress of operational activities.

    Responsibilities : 


    • Responsible for planning wells to achieve Best in Class performance and production rate in Bonga Southwest and Bonga North projects while maintaining the Health Safety and Enviroment safe practices.
    • Ensuring adherence to the Global Well Delivery Process (and rDtL methodology) and effectively manage the interface between the various stakeholders.
    • Develop and own the well cost and schedule estimate appropriate to the project phase using internal, regional and global data for top quartile benchmarks.
    • Provide Wells input to various project deliverables and control documents- including but not limited to Field Development Plan, Basis for Design, Value Improvement plan, Management of Change, Well Proposals, Environmental Impact Assessment, Risk and Opportunity register, Interface management.
    • Champion the company Wells Design Standard to ensure standardization of well concept and interchangeability of equipment across the project.
    • Provide technical input to the selection of appropriate rig selection to carry out the well execution program. This includes technical justification for top hole drilling vessel and upper completion opportunities.
    • Provide support to various technical tenders, develop the technical specification and progress the following specialized tenders from tender initiation to contract award: Intelligent Wells products and services, Expandable Completion products, OCTG Production and Injection Tubing and Sand Exclusion Screens.
    • Coach and mentor younger Wells staff in the Well Delivery Process in accordance with the Wells Framework
