ExternalJob Description	Purpose / Role To provide a single point of contact (SPOC) for customer (MPN & NMPC) and AMEC for all activities associated with a project scope of work. To manage delivery of a project scope of work through engineering, detailed design, procurement, fabrication, project services and construction related activities. Member of the MIPS Contract Project Management Team Key aims and objectives • Deliver Project work scope of work in line with MPN, NMPC and AMEC expectations • Ensure that all work is exercised in such a manner that safety is not compromised • Encourage “ Right First Time” service to the customer • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the project team and the MIPS contract team • Drive cost effective and timely execution of the scope of work for the customer and AMEC • Ensure local staff are utilised • Ensure all staff are developed Must have : • Good communication skills • Business and Commercial Awareness • Good understanding of multi-discipline activities • Ability to take lead role in coordinating other disciplines • Delivery focus • Good understanding of customer drivers Qualifications: Knowledge of engineering/contracts, construction management Leadership experience would be considered an asset Determination to set and achieve objectives and goals. Ablility to review detailed design documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements. Ability to manage Contractors engineering resources across all disciplines
