Job Vacancy: Well Accountant 

REQUIREMENTS:
- A graduate with a minimum of BSc in Accounting/Finance/Economincs or related field.
- Finance professional with a recognised accounting qualification will be of added advantage.
- Over 5 years experience in similar roles with previous exposure to the operational environment and strong and proven commercial mindset.
- Credibility and courage to maintain a compliance mind-set, constructively challenge without stifling the business.
- Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders. Have proven communication and good interpersonal skills.
- Oil & Gas experience and knowledge of SAP will be of added advantage

REQUIREMENTS:
• A B.Sc. degree in Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation and Control engineering. A minimum of 8 years experience in instrument, control, and automation with at least 5 years in offshore facilities design and operation.
• The candidate should have an interest in the technical evaluation, estimation of cost, design, construction and installation of offshore facilities.
• Broad knowledge of deepwater floating systems design, fabrication, installation, commissioning and operation with depth in FPSO systems.
• Knowledge of existing IC&A-related standards, Discipline Controls and Assurance Framework and Technical Authority System.
• HSE commitment and leadership.
• Capability to proactively implement plans and following through execution to meet project milestones
• Coaching, mentoring, and motivating others to be successful.
• High personal energy level; core values enterprise first, leadership and teamwork; and a proven track record in achieving stretching personal and business goals. This post requires a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision and possessing the ability to communicate well and interact.

LIVEWIRE NIGERIA PROGRAMME
The Shell Petroleum development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC), operator of the NNPC/Shell/Total/Agip Joint venture is delighted to announce the commencement of 2010 LiveWIRE Young Enterpreneurs Programme for applicants from Rivers,Delta and Bayelsa States who are within the ages of 18-30. The LiveWIRE Programme is a Shell local and international socialinvestment programme. The main objective of the programme is to create opportunities for young people to grow their potentials through the creation and development of their potentials through the creation and development of their own business

The LiveWIRE Nigeria programme was launched on March 27, 2003. Nigeria is the 21st LiveWIRE programme to be launched in the 21st year of LiveWIRE’s existence. LiveWIRE a Shell developed global community investment programme which began in the UK in 1982. Since 1999 Shell International (Shell Foundation) through its local operating companies has been encouraging many more countries to consider adopting LiveWIRE, to contribute to their youth and economic development.
Variations of the LiveWIRE programme currently operate in 21 countries. Some of these country programmes are quite recent but others have been in existence since 1982 when the programme began in Scotland, in the city of Glasgow. In Nigeria the programme is being initially funded by Shell Foundation/Shell International and Shell Petroleum Development Co. of Nigeria (operators of NNPC/ Shell/ TotalFinaElf/ Agip Joint Venture), and pioneered by Community Development Foundation (CDF), a Nigerian NGO.
